Taree: (noun, tæ-ri:) Raymond J. Scheire
Ray is a partner and general manager of Taree Pharma and has over ten years experience in developing and executing drug delivery packaging strategies for new injectable drugs as well as line extensions for branded and generic injectable drugs. Ray held key management positions at Baxter Healthcare, Global Drug Delivery and managed Biodome America where he helped launch the Bio-Set™ Ready-to-Mix system (www.bio-set.com) to simplify the reconstitution and increase the safety of dry injectable drugs administered by either IV infusion or syringe injection. Successful launches have included Bayer's Kogenate® FS with Bio-Set (worldwide) as well as Biogen's Avonex® and GlaxoSmithKline's Infanrix® (Europe). Ray also has extensive experience in container closure integrity from his Master's research at Rutgers University on "Non-Destructive Inspection of MRE (Meals Ready-to-Eat) Food Pouches" together with working two years as a product manager at Packaging Technologies and Inspection (www.ptiusa.com) on leak detection by pressure/vacuum decay and seal integrity inspection. Recently. Ray completed a one year consulting project to help launch a portfolio of "Clean" flexible packaging products in the United States manufactured by Newform (www.atmi-lifesciences.com) - Hoegaarden, Belgium including Newform's line of Ultraclean, sterilizable bags (Tyvek/HDPE), transfer containment bags and Newmix's single-Use, non-invasive storage and mixing systems for the Biopharmaceutical industry. Ray is certified in Project Management (PMP), bilingual (French and English) and has international experience in France, Belgium and Australia. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Commerce in Marketing degrees from the University of New South Wales, Australia and a Master of Food Science degree with an emphasis in packaging engineering from Rutgers University.
